I personally think this film is in very poor taste.
They could easily have made a movie based on real life experiences surrounding Chernobyl and its lasting effects that not only could have fit the Hollywood film structure, but also have raised awareness about what people are currently dealing with as well as the history of the event without making it some sort of ‘freak show’.
Real people were affected and are still affected by this disaster. Real people still suffer the visible, physical effects of this disaster - birth deformities, illness. These are real people who live real lives! This is real life tragedy, a real life horror story that real people are living, and you’re going to make a horror film about it using these victims as your villains (the tourists are “hunted by people mutated by the nuclear blast”)? And your slogan? “Experience the Fallout”? What the fuck. Do you have no respect?
I am so mad.

Avatar Ships…
Okay. I haven’t really given Avatar Ships much thought but I have been kinda. So I am going to go through my favorites.
I really like Zuko and Mai. Even though it is a Cannon I still love it. They are a perfect couple in the terms that together they make each other happy. They understand each others faults like no one else can.
Aang and Katara..
Just because it has to be… It just does…
Sokka and Toph.. Unfortunatly this cant happen. BECAUSE Tenzin and Lei date and that would mean that they would be cousins… and that is incest and Nick wouldn’t go there.. But I am going to go with my second choice,
Sokka and Suki.. just because it’s so cute.
Korra and Bolin… ROOT FOR THE UNDERDOG! It isn’t going to happen because Bolin is just to perfect and nice and sweet.. she is going to end up with Mako. But Bolin totats had dibsies on Korra! Mako wasn’t even nice to Korra before he knew she was the freaking Avatar and could save the Fire Ferrets.

I know that ‘horror’ films are generally stupid on their own, but seriously? ‘The Chernobyl Diaries’? Ugh. I feel so bad for Russia. Isn’t it enough that Disney makes a mockery of other cultures? Now Hollywood has to pervert a national disaster?
I bet $5 that the word ‘Geiger’ isn’t used once.
